Horrible experience!
Stayed in “gums” where they don’t designate spots.
They booked in so many people we could barely get a spot. We would have had no more than 3m x 3m! For the price we paid they should be regulating how many people they allow in!
The whole campground was a mosquito ridden mud swamp. Had to walk through 100m of ankle deep mud to get to toilet blocks, only 6 individual toilets for the entire camp ground (maybe 400 people camped there if not more.)
The toilets filthy and always no toilet paper
Bins overflowing everywhere all over the ground, not exaggerating there would have been 50 plastic bags of rubbish sitting next to the main skip bin next to the bistro
Any slight rain and the whole place floods, our tent flooded on the second night and we were forced to leave as we had nowhere to sleep, we spoke to 10 other groups of people who all left also. The place is a mess. Told the staff what happened and they couldn’t care less no sympathy and definitely no offer of a refund they just expected everyone to stay camped in a sloppy mud pit.
Obviously money hungry owners trying to jam as many people in to make a quick buck.
NEVER AGAIN…
We loved our stay Habitat Noosa! It was the best place for an authentic camping Noosa experience.
It was right on the waters edge and there were lots of kangaroos on site which was amazing!
The facilities were great and well cleaned, and only a short drive into Noosa. It was great value too!! Will definitely be staying again!!
Fantastic family holiday location! We stayed in the Wilderness Safari Tents and they were clean and tidy. Beds had lovely fresh linen. Cannot recommend the Bistro more if I tried. Amazing meals and friendly staff. Activities reasonably priced and the Everglades tour was wonderful. 10/10.
We came in the busiest season. The facilities are in desperate need of cleaning and updating. Maybe it's just because it's busy. There's the lake and proximity to Noosa, but unless you're a nature lover, there is not a whole lot to do in the camp itself. Does have a pretty good bistro. And a micro brewery with very nice beer.
We have stayed twice at habitat Noosa camping, once tenting and the other time in the wilderness safari tent. Each time we have gone we love it even more! Such a fantastic place to take kids and so safe for them to explore in the bush and …
Really disappointing, on a road trip through Australia and was expecting this campsite to be a highlight of the trip. You shouldn’t have a campsite here, or at least not book as many people in as you do. The land is far too prone to flooding which can’t be drained. The issue is when you drive 2 hours to get there with literally no where to set up camp and are not helped at all to try and solve the issue. We told reception the problem and she said there was nothing she could do about it and to not expect a refund because they can’t help the weather. She didn’t say much and just waited for me to leave, she had even mentioned before that another part of the park had all been advised to move to where we were booked in because of the flooding hence why is was so busy, she admitted she hadn’t even seen the site herself when I asked her if she had seen how crammed and flooded it was. I said we were basically screwed then because there was literally nowhere to stay in Noosa for that evening, she had obviously decided that it wasn’t her problem and started to serve someone else. Honestly I was at a loss, I’ve never stayed somewhere where they are so unwilling to help or even try and help. So we have had to drive back to Brisbane and shell out for accommodation for the 3 nights we were supposed to be here or else sleep in our car. We should have been warned or advised not to come, I really don’t understand the thinking here. I’m sure I’ll get some reply from the site now shirking any responsibility, I know it’s in a national park and nature is unpredictable but you’ve built a business on this land and we are paying you for a service which we didn’t receive. The place looks great if you have a camper or a cabin but I just would warn against camping here without a backup plan.
We planned a weekend at Habitat Noosa with renting a boat and making our way to the Hurry’s Hut as a highlight of it. This was our plan, however when we got to the Fig Tree we understood that the further trip is prohibited for our rented …
We stayed at the paperbark tent . The room was clean and the bathroom is massive. The kids enjoy camp-fire , nature and wild animals very much. However the share kitchen was very dirty especially kitchen floor , the bins was very full and microwave looks like it hasn't been cleaned for a long time.
